The Community Sailing Center is changing it’s youth camp registration process for the 2024 season.

Our goals for this change are to create more equitable access to registration, allow more time for families to decide on the best camps for their campers, and give new campers, returning families, and previously waitlisted campers equal ability to register. Our lottery registration process will be randomly sorted in order to meet these goals, across all of our camps.

Entering the lottery will be a simple two-step process open January 15 though January 21. During the lottery, we will be limiting campers to requesting 1 or 2 camps. Once the lottery is completed on February 6, families can register for any unfilled spots or put them themselves on the waitlist for any additional camps.

Stars & Stripes Camps the week of July 1-5 will not be part of the lottery. Registration will open after the lottery on February 6.

Important Dates:

  • Monday, January 15: Registration for the Lottery opens
  • Sunday, January 21: Last day to register for the Lottery
  • Monday, January 29: Selection announcements begin
  • Monday, February 5: Final lottery announcements sent
  • Tuesday, February 6: Remaining spots open for General Registration. Waitlists will be active for any filled camps.

Between January 22- February 5 all registrations EXCEPT lottery selections will be on pause. If you miss the lottery registration, please contact the CSC at info@communitysailingcenter.org to be notified when general registration opens again.
